The council came up with the following revolutions at the retreat.
That Knights should live up to their mandate as the defenders of the Christian faith, the defenders of the weak and the vulnerable and be there always for the church.
That Christians should put on the whole armour of God to enable them withstand these days of evil as evidently in different presentations in some parts of Nigeria.
That Christians should love, teach and preach Christ and draw faithful to him through exemplary lives not only in the church but also in the larger society.
That Christians should endeavour to build Christian families bonded firmly by the knowledge of the word of God and the love for Christ.
That Knights as part of their lay ministry should finance, support and encourage church planting, church growth, evangelism and missions.
The president of the council used the opportunity of the interactive session to unveil an aspect of the mission statement of the council namely “The Caring Ministry” to take care of the needs of the needy among the congregation of Evo Diocese. Chapter councils had been mandated to start immediately the caring ministry in their various chapters.
The Council commended the donor of the centre, Dr. Alexander Uruemu Ibru, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion under the leadership of the Primate and Metropolitan, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, the Most Revd Nicholas Okoh and the retired Primate, Jasper Akinola for elevating the Ibru Centre to international standard by the additional structures put in place.
