DR. MARGARET UGBOMA STORMS IBRU CENTRE
BY GABRIEL KPAGBAN
It was a weekend of spiritual bliss at Ibru International Centre, Agbarha-Otor as Dr. Margaret Ugboma (KSM) and her group “The Kings Daughters” held their 2010 annual conference from October 14 to 16th, 2010. It is an interdenominational group of intercessors highly committed to seeing God’s divine intervention in the affairs of mankind with the conviction that God answered prayers. The group which has her Motto as “Love and Peace World Outreach”, celebrated this year’s conference with the theme “Transfigured to manifest”.
The conference featured deep intercessions for the nation, church and individuals. There were high praises, deep and heart moving worship for God Almighty for whom He is. There were thanksgiving for prayers answered in the past and anticipated answer for their prayers even in the present and the future. Testifying of God’s goodness in her life, a woman among the participants recalled how she stood in St. Peter’s Chapel (Ibru Centre Chapel) in 2001 and called upon God to open her womb for children. According to her, God answered the prayer and since then, she started bearing children.
The Chaplain of the Centre, Rev. Canon Gabriel Kpagban, who received her thanksgiving on behalf of the Rector, Ven. (Barr.) Ernest Onuoha, thanked God for making His presence known in the Centre by answering the prayers of His people. He prayed for the group and assured them of God’s answers to their petitions. He told them that God would do notable miracles in their lives as long as they continue to pray and believe God.
Other features of the conference included the rendering of special numbers, lectures and special prayers for members to be able to manifest the goodness of God in their marital, spiritual, financial, political and social lives. The group departed on Saturday 16th October, 2010. They went home satisfied, spiritually renewed and refreshed, empowered and anointed to manifest the glory of God in all endeavours of life and also resolved to proclaim Christ to all.
